Maruti Suzuki is the first company to sell one million CNG vehicles globally
Maruti Suzuki India is one of the manufacturers in India that offers the widest range of CNG car options to clients. Maruti Suzuki India Limited recently revealed that they had sold one million S-CNG automobiles in total. In the CNG market, the Indian automaker offers a wide range of options, including the recently announced new models. Maruti's S-CNG vehicles come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including hatchbacks, MPVs, and sedans. Vehicles such as the Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Celerio, Dzire, Ertiga, Eeco, Super Carry, and Tour-S cater to these categories. The Indian automaker is supporting the government's efforts to increase the adoption of S-CNG vehicles in India, with the goal of reducing oil imports by increasing natural gas's part of the country's energy basket from 6.2 percent to 15 percent by 2030.
